Every AIME answer is an integer from 0 to 999

The Mathematical Association of America describes the American Invitational Mathematics Examination as “a 15-question, 3-hour examination, in which each answer is an integer number between 0 to 999.” This unambiguous integer-only format - no multiple choice, no partial credit - is part of why the AIME became a convenient benchmark for AI reasoning: answers can be scored automatically with no room for generous grading.
