Anthropic’s May 28, 2021 Series A announcement states that the company is “led by siblings Dario Amodei (CEO) and Daniela Amodei (President).” Both were senior figures at OpenAI before founding Anthropic as an AI safety and research company. The sibling leadership pairing - one as chief executive, one as president - is unusual among frontier AI labs.
