MLB Statcast uses 12 Hawk-Eye cameras per park

When MLB rebuilt Statcast on Hawk-Eye technology for the 2020 season, each of its 30 ballparks was outfitted with 12 high-resolution, high-frame-rate cameras. The system tracks the ball and every player with a stated precision of roughly a tenth of an inch, replacing the earlier radar-plus-optical setup with a camera-only design.
